Q. How can I view a close-up image of the Stamps?

A. For a close up enlarged look of any stamp(s) simply click on the image for a detailed view

Q. I cannot find the stamps or stamp collections I am looking for, can you help?

A. You can search from the drop down menus and the search boxes from the home page and most other pages,by Era for all British Stamps stock, or by Country for all Commonwealth stamps stock.  If you know the Stanley Gibbons S.G. number of the stamps then you can enter this into the search box at the top of any page. If you still cannot see the stamps you want then please call us or complete the online enquiry form and we will get back to you

Q. Is there a minimum Stamps order?

A. No

Q. Do you send Stamps outside the UK?

A. Yes, we ship worldwide

Q. What is the cost of postage on my Stamps?

A. We do not charge postage, every purchase is posted within 1 working day of cleared payment, completely free of charge. If you require your item to be insured and trackable we charge a nominal fee of £4 per order

Q. How can I pay for my stamps or stamp collections?

A. We accept payment by PayPal, Debit or Credit card or by Cheque drawn on a UK bank in GBP sterling.

Q. Can I pay for my stamps with my credit or debit card?

A. Yes, PayPal allows use of credit and debit cards without the use of a PayPal account. Simply click on the “Don’t have a PayPal account link and you will be taken to a secure screen where you can enter your card details

Q. What is your policy on returns of Stamps?

A. We offer a money back guarantee if not entirely satisfied with your stamps for any reason

Q. What if my order of Stamps is lost or damaged during in the post?

A. All stamps are sent fully insured and therefore if lost a full refund will be issued. If your stamps or stamp collections arrive damaged please contact us immediately. If the packaging is damaged please state as such when signing for your stamps. This will enable us to make a claim quicker

Q. Do you accept "Stamps Wants" lists?

A. Yes, please complete the online enquiry form detailing which stamps you are after

Q. Do you buy stamps?

A. Yes, we are constantly buying new stamps and stamp collections. We are keen to buy good quality stamp collections or better single stamps or rare stamps. However, we only buy Commonwealth stamps and British Stamps. Please complete the online enquiry form giving a brief detail of what stamps you want to sell and we will contact you to arrange further inspection

Q. Are the Stamps I see on the image the one I am going to get?

A. Yes, all stamps listed are in stock and the image you see is the stamp(s) you will be getting. The only exception to this is the GB Box Files and Commonwealth Stamp Box files and the Stamp Mixtures. These are illustrated as an example of what you will get

Q. How long will my Stamps take to arrive? 

A. All Stamps and Stamp Collections are dispatched within 48 hours of payment being received (excluding weekends and bank holidays)
     For UK Stamp orders delivery should be within 2 days (unless Next Day Guarantee has been selected) 
     For International Stamp orders delivery should be within 5-10 days depending on where in the world you are

Q. Can I place my order for the Stamps I want over the phone?

A. Yes, We take orders for Stamps, Stamp Collections and Box Files over the phone. You can also pay using your card over the phone if you prefer not to enter your card details online. Our office hours are Monday to Friday 9.00am to 17.00pm Our telephone number is 01189474114

Q. Can I spread payment for my stamps over a month or so? 

A. Yes, for stamp orders over £250 we will accept payment in three instalments over two months. The first payment to be made on placing your order, the second payment due one month later and the final payment due one month after that. Your order will be sent after the final payment has been received

Q. All your stamp prices are in GBP sterling. Can I pay using USD or Euros?

A. Yes you can. When you pay your bank or Credit Card Company will convert the amount from GBP sterling into your currency. To find out the currently rate of exchange click on our “currency converter” at the bottom of the home page

Q. What do the abbreviations on your stamp descriptions mean?

A.    MNH         = Mint Never Hinged. Stamps as issued with full original gum and never mounted
        VLMM      = Very Lightly Mounted Mint. Stamps with a small trace of being hinged with near full original gum
        LMM         = Lightly Mounted Mint. As above but the stamps have slightly more evidence of being hinged
        MM           = Mounted Mint. Stamps which have been more heavily hinged with possible hinge remnants
        VFU           = Very Fine Used. Used Stamps with a light cancel or Circular Date Stamp (CDS) or equivalent
        FU              = Fine Used. As above but these stamps are with slightly heavier or smudged cancel
        GU             = Good Used. Nice collectable stamps with perhaps heavier cancel and minor faults, crease, short perfs etc
