Bermuda is located in North Atlantic Ocean.

The first internal postal system was opened in 1784 by The Bermuda Gazette.

British general Post Office took control of the overseas postal services in 1818.

The first Stamps issued were in1848, the Postmasters stamps, issued by the postmasters at Hamilton and known as the "Cotton Reels" , these stamps being some of the rarest in the world.
